General Summary: Provides training and application support college wide, including creation of training materials, asynchronous courses, and facilitating training in a variety of learning environments. Provides excellent customer service and technical resources to support faculty, staff, and students on all college-wide technology.

 

Requirements:

 

Bachelor's deg Bachelor's degree required with at least one year of related work experience (preferred); or associate's degree with minimum three years related work experience in application support, online learning technologies, learning management systems, instructional materials creation, technical writing and writing for the web. Degree in information systems, instructional systems, learning technologies, instructional technology, or related field preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on coaching, influencing and consulting. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; critical thinking, and problem solving skills. Experience with instructional video creation, YouTube channel management, SnagIt, Camtasia, Articulate, Flip Books, Windows 10, Office for both Mac and Windows, Mac OSx, mobile devices, Vyond, conducting demonstrations in a classroom setting, Visio, Learning Management Systems, Lecture Capture software, SCORM courses, IT Security knowledge, VoIP systems and collaboration environments.

 

This position will be required to report to any CCAC location to provide the necessary support.

 

Duties:

 

1. Provide training and technical support for software applications and technologies that support major College business units, learning, and classroom technologies; provides training and support for the ITS ServiceDesk team.

 

2. Review, update, track and create knowledge articles in the college's knowledge base tool; provide monthly reports and evaluation for changes.

 

3. Effective written communications for publicizing and promoting training offerings and support to the college; promotes new and updated technical services and applications through communications.

 

4. Coach and provide assistance to training service request tickets from students and employees.

 

5. Designs, creates, and delivers monthly technology tips and department newsletter.

 

6. Delivers monthly new hire orientation presentation on behalf of ITS.

 

7. Design, develop, implement, and promote training on the use of all ITS applications and technologies to include the College's business enterprise system and third party applications.

 

8. Conduct training in a variety of environments: instructor led trainings, asynchronous learning courses, webinar, and group trainings. Continue to develop offerings through the college's learning management system.

 

9. Advance the college-wide use of business applications, via implementation of standard college-wide procedures, adherence to policies (see room scheduling procedures), deployment of upgrades and design of custom reporting to support analytics and decision-making for management.

 

10. Review and update the ITS specific pages for internal portal, CCAC web site, and mobile application to ensure accuracy of information for services.

 

11. Develop SCORM courses in the learning management platform for all CCAC applications. This includes materials, best practices, instructional videos, and assessment of learning.

 

12. Administration of the college's learning management system; access, uploading, reviewing, and updating training materials; tracking completions; performing assessments.

 

13. Ensure ADA compliance and standards are met for all training deliverables.

 

14. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
