Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital’s AbilityLinks program will hold its fourth annual educational conference and employment expo on Thursday April 9, 2009. Please save the date and spread the word.
Business networking will kick-off the day and educational sessions with special tracks for employers and job seekers with disabilities will round out the morning program.
Top employers that embrace disability as diversity will be honored during an AbilityLinks Award Luncheon that will also feature a special guest key-note speaker. A job match fair will immediately follow the luncheon and cap off this all day event.
How assistive rehabilitation technology increases productivity of disabled workers, debunking myths about employing persons with disabilities and practical tips for making the right career choice and taking a successful approach to finding a job are only a few of educational presentations being planned.
The 2009 AbilityLinks Consortium is Sponsored by Northern Trust and Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, hosted in part by DoubleTree Guest Suites and developed in partnership with AbilityLinks Consortium members College of DuPage, Banner Personnel, State of Illinois Department of Human Services/Division of Rehabilitation Services, DeVry University, Donka, Inc., and DuPage Center for Independent Living.
High visibility sponsorship opportunities are now available starting at only $500, standard booths for the job fair are $100 and a full day registration including the luncheon is $20 for job seekers and family members and $60 for employers and rehabilitation professionals.
A limited number of job seeker scholarships will be available based on need.
