Donka Hosts AbilityLinks ADA seminar

Sheila Nelson, an instructor for physically and visually impaired people at Donka, Inc., demonstrates voice activation software called "Dragon Naturally Speaking" at a recent AbilityLinks seminar on the ADA and job accommodations. The seminar was held at Wheaton, Illinois-based Donka, which is a computer training lab and job placement resource for DuPage County.

Judy Lampa

Judy Lampa, an instructor for physically and visually impaired people at Donka, Inc., explains some of the keyboard adaptations that are available for people with disabilities to people who attended the AbilityLinks seminar on the ADA and job accommodations. After a presentation on the ADA by Barry Taylor, legal advocacy director at Equip for Equality, attendees toured Donka’s computer lab. In addition to the lab, Donka, which is located in Wheaton, Illinois, provides job placement resources for people with disabilities in DuPage County.
