Contract Associate Manager (Accenture LLP; San Francisco, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Contract Associate Manager in San Francisco, CA, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Work with account leadership, client, commercial and business stakeholders to perform the day to day delivery activities which include deliverable management, statement of work drafting support, and contract interpretation support.
  • Coach junior members of the contract management team providing support and guidance and assessing any additional training requirements to close skill gaps.
  • Escalate commercial and contract risks and issues working with contract management leadership and account leadership for resolution activities.
  • Support pre-award sales activities, by engaging with the deal lawyers and account teams to support contract drafting.
  • Engage with the account team to support the tasks associated with managing the contractual obligations of the parties and support any contract adjustments needed.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Management, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Pre-Law, Political Science, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in Contract Management.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Managing large, complex projects working with a large cross-border team responsible for contract compliance and risk mitigation with clients;
  • Providing support for compliance with tax policy, trade compliance policy, and data privacy policy;
  • Collaborating and communicating with client executives at all levels of the organization and supporting discussions to influence key commercial and contracting decisions;
  • Reviewing and negotiating commercial contracting regulations and principles;
  • Subcontracting work with third parties to ensure no gaps in risk; and
  • Drafting client and subcontractor's commercial contracting terms and conditions.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
